Young Interpreters

Our Young Interpreters Scheme aims to provide additional support to pupils who are learning English as an additional language. Our goal is to support learners who are new to English so that they feel safe, settled and valued from the start.

At St William’s Catholic Primary School we have a fantastic group of children who make up our ‘Young Interpreters’ team. They have had specific training to prepare them for this role and have been selected on the basis of their wonderful personal qualities.
