Wigan Catholic Primary Schools Direct

Wigan Catholic Primary School Direct is a large partnership of twenty-three Catholic primary schools spread across the Wigan Local Authority. WCPSD is made up of a range of developing, successful and outstanding primary schools with varying contexts, all of which have a shared common goal of training high quality teachers, with a vision for excellence. Working in partnership with Liverpool Hope University we are able to develop direct training that will have the academic and theoretical underpinning to allow trainees to become outstanding practitioners within the field of education. 

We are seeking individuals who demonstrate and are able to apply the skills of organisation, flexibility, reflection, evaluation and action to all aspects of the course and their career. Enthusiastic individuals who are able to communicate effectively with pupils, colleagues and parents on a range of levels are essential to our partnership.
