Results of the Parents Questionnaire October 2016

Thank you to the 94 families who completed the questionnaire during our first parents evening of the year.

The Senior Leadership Team and Governor will discuss these results to help to plan improvements for the children at St. William’s. We were absolutely thrilled to receive such positive feedback and thank you to all those who took the time to complete a questionaire. One family had suggested more information about websites to support children's learning, however during parents evening the classteacher had provided each parent with an information booklet highlighting websites!

Please do get in touch if you have any ideas how we can continue to support children at St William's, we are always looking for ways to improve.

It was lovely hear how much the improvements to the library and outdoor facilities have been appreciated.

OFSTED Parent Questionnaire

Ofsted has launched Parent View, a new online questionnaire that will allow parents and carers to give their views on their child’s school at any time of the year. Covering over 22,000 schools across England, the 12-question survey will help other parents as they make important choices about their child’s education and provide Ofsted with information about schools that will help inform priorities for inspection.

 Want to take a look?

You can access the site at http://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk/ after which you’ll be able to search for results for schools or if you have children attending a school, register to complete a questionnaire.

The questions have been carefully chosen to cover those issues that parents have told Ofsted are the most important to them. They are also designed to provide Ofsted with the information to support decisions about inspection and will give headteachers a direct route into gathering the views of their parent group.

Launching Parent View, Baroness Sally Morgan, Ofsted Chair said:  ”Parent View will give mums and dads a voice and will give Ofsted important feedback about their children’s schools”

We hope you find the new ‘Parent View’ service useful, if you’d like to tell us what you think of the new service, please use the contact us page
